She has an incredible amount of respect for couture with its attention to fine detailing and artistry. Her first collection, La Femme, consisted of thirteen hand-sewn dresses."
The gorgeous white dress displayed above was crafted by Mary for "Tee-Time". "Tee-Time is an annual spring U of A event the apparel design program sponsors. Every year, participating students are given a plain white T-shirt to deconstruct and create a new garment. Garments are showcased during a runway show, and after, a silent auction of the designs." The E.Mag has made a blog! We're able make more frequent fashion posts hopefully involving you! Please with whipped cream and a cherry on top submit anything you are involved in as far as fashion and art is concerned. That means photo shoots for models and photographers, as well as pictures of your work if you're an artist or designer.
We'd also like to feature must have items that you find online, and cute little side projects like making your own dress or necklace or something. You will be credited for the find and so will all involved.
We're very thankful to have a good amount of local photographers who are interested in being a part of the E.Mag in one way or another, so if you're a model who'd like to feature another photographer's work just tell us who the photographer is and we'll double check with them for you. Everyone involved does get credit on the blog! If you'd like to ask the photographer for permission... just have them send us a quick email with the okay for our reassurance! We really want everyone to be involved with the E.Mag as much as possible! XOXO!
